Airline Existing Customer Marketing Lead, VP
Wilmington, DE

Partnership is currently looking for an AVP Airline Existing Customer Marketing Manager in their Wilmington, Delaware location. Barclays US Consumer Bank is one of the fastest-growing top 10 credit card issuers and online banks in the United States. Within the Partnership Group, the bank creates customized, co-branded credit card programs for some of the country’s most successful travel, entertainment, retail and affinity institutions. Within Travel, our Airlines Cobrand teams support a growing group of airline cobrands covering the spectrum of US Domestic and International Airlines

What will you be doing?
•This role has a direct relationship with our partner, required to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders and executive management at a premier partner.
•Responsible for developing the Existing Customer strategies to achieve growth targets for a Top Airline partnership.
•Manage financial drivers to maximize P&L performance.
•Accountable for the strategy, development, management, and optimization of a $10M annual marketing budget.
•Responsible for identifying potential risks that could be detrimental to growth plan or the overall relationship and develop/implement action plans to address risks.
•Identify competitive trends in product, customer engagement, retention, marketing strategies and marketing landscape. Develop strategies to address gaps.
•Set the strategy for creative development for existing customer marketing initiatives and campaigns
•Provide input into program optimization and turnaround strategies

What we’re looking for:
•Bachelor’s degree required (Business related field)
•10 years of experience in marketing or partnership
•10 years of credit card banking industry experience

Skills that will help you in the role:
•Graduate Degree (MBA – preferred)
•Demonstrated leadership ability
•Proven track record of marketing, business development and setting strategic direction
•Demonstrated P&L accountability and ownership. This role has the autonomy to communicate and make decisions with the partner. Judgmental skills are needed to understand the P&L.
