Senior level MicroStrategy Developer with proven experience developing/architecting MicroStrategy deployments within the business intelligence and data warehouse space. This position will support the Deposit Products Reporting which provides 17+ reports. The desired applicant must have strong communications skills (verbal and written) and know how to partner with cross-department information systems teams and business audiences in order to relate complex problems in simple terms. This candidate will also need to be proficient with tools and process used to automate reports end to end and requires good understanding of data gathering tools, and proficiency with business intelligence reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and SAS.


+ Responsible for automating reports from data acquisition through report development and delivery.

+ Responsible for complex components of large reporting platforms.

+ Frequent client engagement with peers and managers is required as part of day to day work.

+ Participate in client meetings to understand needs and occasionally contribute specialized knowledge.

+ Handle multiple priorities at once and possess strong communication skills.

+ Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and consistently shows initiative.

+ Would be expected to support multiple lines of business and the products they manage, Consumer Deposits & Consumer/Small Business Rewards.

Required Skills:

+ 3+ years’ experience with MicroStrategy Dashboard, Visual Insight, & Architect

+ 3+ years’ experience working within a Teradata/SQL Server Environment

+ Proficient debugging, troubleshooting, and completing routine maintenance & performance tuning of MicroStrategy projects

+ Strong demonstrated ability to summarize and interpret large amounts of data

+ End to end knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing techniques (Dimensional Star/Snowflake Models)

+ Ability to organize and prioritize own work to meet deadlines and milestones with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Desired Skills:

+ Experience utilizing LINUX command line, SAS, BASH, or KSH

+ Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improved database SQL performance on any of the following platforms: SQL Server,Teradata

+ Demonstrated data skills with large data stores, comfortable navigating and connecting disparate data sources

+ Experience working with Autosys and JAMS

+ Experience building reporting utilizing Tableau developer

+ Knowledge of smart data presentation (scorecards, dashboards, and other advanced analytics)

+ Experience in developing and facilitating presentations utilizing MS Excel and Power Point.

+ Experience in Banking industry is a plus

+ Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative background in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
