Job Description

    Responsibilities* Reconcile statements and follow up collections as necessary
  • Research and process charge backs, returns and bad checks
  • Post holdback payment statement and review holdback schedule monthly
  • Post manufacturer incentive payment statements and review incentive schedule weekly
  • Process daily floor plan payoffs, monthly floor plan, interest payments, and floor plan reconciliation
  • Compile payroll data and process weekly in house payroll
  • Compute wages and deductions
  • File all weekly, monthly and quarterly tax payments with State and IRS
  • Process all employee insurance forms and insurance payments
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientations and ensure all employees receive appropriate training
  • Maintain records of vacation and sick-day eligibility
  • Maintain receptionist schedule and coverage
    Qualifications* Previous experience in accounting required
  • Previous automotive experience required
  • Previous payroll experience required
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Accounting degree preferred
  • Master knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Organizational, communication and computer skills
