Secure Solutions Security Engineer (Job Number: 206097W-05)

Description

INTRODUCTION

We
are seeking a talented, hands-on secure solutions engineer whose broad IT
experience will be coupled with their deep understanding of NIST and other
security requirements to help IT project teams build and deliver secure and
compliant solutions. The successful
candidate will be a member of multi-disciplined Information Security delivery
team working closely with IT project teams and platform security engineers
& architects to deliver solutions on which the company depends to achieve
its objectives.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The secure
solutions delivery engineer will be a key contributor to our Security by Design
model which identifies and implements security requirements as IT solutions are
being configured or built. The
successful candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplined security delivery
team and collaborate closely with IT project teams. The engineer will assist the IT project team
in determining how best to implement security requirements in areas such as
single sign-on, encryption, application security and monitoring. The successful candidate will also work very
closely with the platform security engineers and architects to continuously
improve the effectiveness of core security tools.

+ Acontinuous learner; one who researches and learns through structured andunstructured channels and can adapt quickly to new technologiesStrong understanding of data protection technologies, such asencryption

+ Understandingof the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors, and methodsof exploitation

+ Knowledgeand understanding of common operating systems, network securityarchitecture and protocols

+ Strong process and requirementsdocumentation capabilities

Qualifications

Your qualification profile:

+ PreferredBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, such as ComputerEngineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or equivalentexperience.

+ Minimum5 to 7 years of experience designing, deploying and supporting cybersecurity solutions (EDR, IDPS, HIPS, SIEM, VA technology, etc…)

+ Priorexperience delivering IT solutions, system administration or computerprogramming is a plus

+ Experienceengineering resilient and robust platforms for large and compleximplementations

+ Preferredcertifications such as: CISSP, GCED, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE
