DuPont Legal is seeking a multitalented
Paralegal to join its energetic team at our Chestnut Run Plaza site located in
Wilmington, DE. If you are interested in a position that will offer the

The Paralegal position is a key role within
the Legal function of DuPont Specialty Products USA, LLC serving the Corporate
Shared Services team. He/She must be a person of vision, integrity and
commitment, as well as substantial ability to multitask within the employment
(including benefits), Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) and Procurement legal
disciplines. Ability to collaborate with
business partners is paramount. The successful candidate will be self-motivated
and will demonstrate an ability and willingness to work independently and as
part of a team.
As a Paralegal, you will:
+ Review and analyze a variety of commercialagreements to meet business and legal requirements, including benefit, datatransfer agreements, purchasing agreements, distribution, confidentialityagreements and requests for proposals.
+ Utilize background knowledge and experiencein data analysis, contract review, and process improvements within the mergerand acquisition project management space.
+ Lead and advise on M&A tasks, employmentand procurement large scale projects, and work on purchasing contracts andsupply agreements
+ Conduct legal research, draft legal memorandaand analyze statutes and case law and identify relevant legal authority.
+ Support cross-functionally within theassigned business unit by offering support to HR counsel
+ Extensive experience with HR Benefits and LaborAgreements
+ Conduct interviews and investigationsregarding claims and HR violations
+ Draft and review Benefit plan documents
+ Support domestic and international merger,acquisition, corporate governance and divestiture matters
+ Support lawyers in litigation matters re-employee Benefit plans
+ Coordinate with HR and procurementprofessionals
+ Serve as a subject matter expert by leaningon knowledge and experience regarding Privacy law
+ A minimum of a High SchoolDiploma or GED or equivalent AND a minimum of eight (8) years of relevantexperience is required, OR
+ An advanced degree in arelated discipline AND a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experienceis required
+ Additional credentials of preference include:Juris Doctorate (JD), MBA, Master’s degree, or Lean Six Sigma Black Beltcertification
+ A minimum of 4 years’ procurement experienceis required
+ A minimum of 4 years’ experience with HRBenefits and Labor Agreements is required
+ Experience reviewing and analyzing a varietyof commercial agreements to meet business and legal requirements, includingbenefit, data transfer agreements, purchasing agreements, distribution,confidentiality agreements and requests for proposals is required
+ Experience conducting legal research,drafting legal memoranda(s) and analyzing statutes and case law and identifyingrelevant legal authority is required
+ Drafting and reviewing benefit plan documentsis required
+ Ability and track record of coordinating withHR and procurement professionals
+ Familiar with conducting interviews andinvestigations regarding claims and HR violations
+ Experience supporting domestic andinternational merger, acquisition, corporate governance and divestiture matters
+ Experience providing support to lawyers inlitigation matters, and re-employee benefit plans
+ Knowledge and experience regarding Privacylaw
+ Proficiency in Microsoft applications, suchas Word, Excel, Outlook, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly isrequired
+ Strong written and verbal communicationskills
+ Strong multi-tasking, problem solving andtime management skills
+ This role is located in Wilmington, DE andmay require less than 5% of travel
+ A minimum requirement for this U.S. basedposition is the ability to work legally in the United States; No visasponsorship/support is available for this position
