The CCB – Risk and Finance Technology (CCB-RFT) organization is responsible for building and supporting the technology systems and platform that supports the CCB Risk and Finance Technology. A technology delivery manager / scrum master in this group leads a cross organizational team focused on delivery of high visibility initiatives, and will be responsible for establishing and executing the delivery management practices necessary for success. This role is not about implementing a pure conceptual Agile methodology for Agile methodology’s sake. This role is about implementing practical delivery management that complements, enables and leverages Agile scrum methodology while simultaneously supporting the transparency and control required across project / program stakeholders.
This senior leader in Project Execution will be responsible for coordinating and driving a critical Large Scale Scrum transformation initiatives managing multiple Product Area teams across Corporate Technology.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Managing product area scrums of scrums, development managers and architects, to develop overall product roadmap, driving programs to delivery milestones, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring programs are executing according to department standards
+ Provide Scrum Master support, as needed, to core product scrum teams
+ Builds and maintains the release calendar across the portfolio
+ Contributing to and helping to ensure that the Agile product is in line with the business transformation objectives.
+ Face-off to senior stakeholders for steering and governance, ensuring appropriate transparency and messaging
+ Ensuring alignment of teams to Agile practices and creating a flagship Agile large scale product development program.
+ Providing governance for ensuring program compliance with SDLC and program execution auditability requirements, and manages senior leadership engagement in sign-offs
+ Ensuring program compliance with department-wide transparency standards on progress of investment initiatives, as well as participation in budget planning, forecasts, headcount plans, capacity vs. demand analysis
+ Ensuring audit readiness for programs
+ 10+ years of relevant experience.
+ Proven track record of successfully executing delivery management fundamentals for technology implementation efforts (meeting / JAD facilitation, workplans, status reports, RAID logs, metrics reporting, budget reporting, etc.).
+ Capable of handling ambiguity and helping to shape a program that organizes the ambiguity.
+ Ability to go beyond the mechanics of program management; must be able to do more than document a plan and track to it, must also be able to manage deviation from plan, propose resolutions, and lead to resolution.
+ Analytical thinker with strong analysis skills, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills enabling candidate to anticipate problems and connect dots on their own.
+ Reasonable working knowledge of technology architectures and risk management business functions to the extent necessary to establish credibility with technology and business stakeholders.
+ Experience with DevOps principles and testing automation

+ Experience and aptitude with technology development roles outside of project management specialization (e.g., process design, business analysis, test scripting, etc.).
+ Solid knowledge and understanding of technology and technical solutions.

+ Experience with release planning and forecasting, aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders
+ Ability to synthesize complex and/or diverse information to “tell a story” in a digestible manner that brings attention to the key details

+ Flexible, with ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities for self while working in a frequently changing environment.
+ Assertive with strong interpersonal skills and solid written and verbal business communication skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), with aptitude for learning proprietary software and databases
+ Experience using agile management software such as Jira is a plus.
Familiarity with practical implementations of Agile scrum methodology, particularly as it relates to establishing project planning and tracking protocols in practice with that methodology.
