We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. In this role, you will support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and various function leaders (e.g. Facility Services & Real Estate, Engineering and EHS&S). You will be the primary Finance resource on the function’s leadership teams and will participate in the development and implementation of functional strategic directions and ensure function management understands key decisions and actions needed to meet financial objectives. You will also be responsible for developing financial procedures and policies to ensure acceptable and sound fiscal policies and control in addition to the standard budgeting, cost and variance analysis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide financial leadership, fiduciary role for governance processes and decision support for Functional Leaders
+ Partner with Function leaders in the development of annual plan and other near/longer term strategic planning work.
+ Work directly with Function leadership/ line organizations to identify drivers of cost and capital (if applicable) spend performance and drive corrective actions
+ Drive operational and financial improvements to processes
+ Support Function synergy initiatives and tracking
+ Provide support to Corteva Finance for specific accounting and reporting questions regarding Function performance.
+ Partner with associated resources in Reporting Center, Accounting Center and other leveraged finance resources through communication and influence
The following are required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or business finance and 5+ years of experience with finance planning, budgeting and analysis
+ Standard financial/variance analysis experience
+ Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system for reporting (note, additional years of experience and breadth/depth of experience may be considered in lieu of ERP-related experience)
+ Proactive, self-motivated nature and ability to interact with people and teams at all levels of the organization
+ Responsive and adaptive to new information
