Job Description

Kelly Services is seeking a Process Operator in Newark, DE for our client, a global chemical company.

This position is a long-term contract opportunity, and the pay will be around $18 – $19/hr depending on background or experience.

The Process Operator will be part of the platform development group that support the operation of a pilot plant.

The successful candidate will focus primarily on supporting the lead technologist on the operation of an experimental pilot line. This position involves operating and cleaning equipment associated with production of various products. This individual should be committed to a strong safety culture and wearing PPE for up to 2 hours at a time, and should be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time. A candidate who has worked as an operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment would excel in this role.

Ability to follow SOP’s and interact with other group members to manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlines is a must. Good communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork attitude, ability and willingness to learn quickly, and perform well in a fast pace environment are also required.

This position is scheduled for 5 day-8 hour shift assignment: normal day is 8:00 am to 5:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma required. AS or BS degreed candidates encouraged to apply!

+ Experience in a process or manufacturing setting is desired.
