CSC’s Global Financial Markets (“GFM”) business unit has a unique and exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to spearhead the growth and expansion of its U.S. based capital markets platform. The focus of this leadership position will be on substantially expanding our capital markets business in the United States. As such, this role involves full responsibility for building the U.S. business and increasing our market share, raising CSC’s profile in the industry, and revenue & profit maximization. The priority for growth and expansion will have this position focusing on delivering new business revenue, developing business relationships with clients and intermediaries, and growing client relationships. Finally, we envision this leader working closely with our capital markets team in Europe in order to realize synergies and develop the global platform.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead all aspects of the U.S. Capital Markets business, including full P&L responsibility, accountability for revenue growth and profitability, team building and people leadership.

+ Design and execute commercial strategies that leverage CSC’s capabilities and competitive advantages to create differentiated offerings in the marketplace.

+ Develop go-to-market strategy and generate new business by identifying potential clients, acquiring new clients, and growing client relationships, while also leveraging CSC’s existing broad relationships and network to identify clients and referral partners within the capital markets industry.

+ Monitor and interpret market trends and conduct competitive analysis to determine the strategic direction of the business, including product development, service expansion, and business development.

+ Create and maintain a five-year strategic plan and financial model, as well as annual tactical plans, encompassing all facets of the business, including sales, marketing, service, and operations.

+ Work as an integral part of the GFM international leadership team in executing GFM’s global strategy in concert with commercial leaders in Europe and Asia and across CSC’s other business units.

+ Represent the business at external meetings, relevant industry forums, conferences and seminars.

+ Develop, manage and report on key performance metrics for the business and the team

Qualifications/Experience required:

+ Proven inspirational business and people leader with experience in managing and developing diverse teams and achieving aggressive goals in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

+ Strong understanding of the U.S. and global capital markets and a broad and deep network of contacts in the industry.

+ Proven track record of leading and growing a capital markets or corporate services business.

+ Effective and confident communicator.

+ Strong commercial and entrepreneurial acumen with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.

+ Proactive and dynamic personality.

+ Eagerness to be part of a rapidly growing business.

+ Educated to degree level (financial & accounting education credentials a plus). In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
