Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range
of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and
lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice.
Consumer & Community Banking RiskManagement partners with each CCB sub-line of business
to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk.
Manager will be responsible for a variety of duties that cut across the entire
Credit Forecasting COE team. Duties will include a variety of BAU
activities and innovation to further enhance the capability of the
team. This individual will develop, coordinate and manage strategic
initiatives and special projects for the CCB Credit Forecasting Center of
Excellence. He/she will also provide project management for BAU business
operations of the team on a number of different initiatives.
+ Managebusiness operations and provide program management for Credit ForecastingCenter of Excellence, including:
+ Coordinateannual Budget and MYF processes
+ Preparationand consolidation of insightful analysis and commentary for CCB LossForecasting financials including budget/forecast/outlook variances
+ Assist withmaterials for CCB leadership team meetings and external forums (i.e.Investor Day)
+ Provideproject leadership in dashboard development. Develop framework and translate largedata sets into dynamic, flexible, and meaningful executive readyvisualizations
+ Work toenhance consistency across existing processes and reporting to meetchanging needs of the business and drive process synergies
+ ReportControl oversight/implementation
+ Policy andProcedure Management
+ Ad hocoperations (User Tool Management, real estate, corporate initiativesaround governance and operational excellence)
+ Manage and advancethe people agenda toward building a culture of collaboration via variousinitiatives including town halls, lunch and learns, newsletters, and teamevents
+ Developlearning programs for the CCB Credit Forecasting COE teams
+ Partnerclosely with team leadership to develop solutions; create structure anddrive results and set direction for team
+ Deliverinsightful recommendations in a persuasive and thoughtful manner
+ Buildconsensus and effectively influence senior stakeholders with disparatepriorities
+ Adopt apragmatic approach in driving projects from ideation stage to execution
+ Developgranular project plans with clear delineation of roles, tasks, milestones,and measures of success
candidate has experience successfully delivering broad complex projects in
matrix work environments. He/she has strong analytical skills, is
highly confident, collaborative, detail oriented, and thrives in a
high-pressure and high-expectations environment. He/she has a strong
presence, superior influencing skills, is comfortable working directly with
senior executives, effectively communicating and discussing strategic
business considerations and project details at the appropriate level.
+ 5- 10 yearsof experience working as a Program or Business Operations Manager in thefinancial services industry with in experience in credit risk management
+ Bachelordegree required; experience in risk, finance andregulatory a plus
+ Ability tograsp large amounts of information, and a curiosity to ask appropriatequestions to fully develop and recommend solutions
+ Socialaptitude – Ability to build consultative relationships with seniormanagement, becoming a trusted partner for thinking strategically aboutthe risk management organization and the CCB organization as a whole
+ Excellentanalytical, problem solving and time management skills
+ High levelof proficiency at written/verbal communication – ability to interfacewith senior management and deliver compelling presentation materialsthat summarize complex tasks, timelines and tradeoffs
+ Ability toexercise sound judgment when working without immediate supervision
+ Ability tomultitask and re-prioritize assignments while maintaining strongattention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities combined with"big picture" problem-solving skills
+ Ability towork with all levels of staff
+ Assertiveand self-motivated
+ Pastcompliance or regulatory experience a plus
