Summary: The Senior Accountant position is responsible for timely reporting for management. These reports include costing, analysis, month and year-end reporting. The Senior Accountant will also apply principles of accounting to analyze past and present operations and will be responsible for providing accounting support and some supervision to Accounting Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Ensures company and Group processes and procedures are followed and adhered to. Assist with the coordination of the month-end and year-end closing process, including maintaining control records to ensure that all items are processed to deadlines. Assist in the production of financial statements.
+ Tracking and verifying the contents of general ledger accounts and providing analysis on such to management, creating portions of the financial statements.
+ Review and maintenance of the production costing. Involving updates to ERP system and measurement of actuals against budget to ensure reporting is accurate and margin reporting is up to date. Provides costing analysis and recommendations to product segment managers, senior management, and operations.
+ Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activities and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
+ Assist with the preparation of and present other reports to management. Prepare information for and assist with audits of company’s accounts.
+ Assist with preparation of budgets. Collect and analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
+ Compare budgeted overhead accounts with actual expenditure to provide control of expenditures for activities such as advertising and marketing, production, maintenance, legal expenses and fixed assets.
+ Recommend and Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures.
+ Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
+ Assist with year-end audits.
Qualifications/Requirements: Should have 5-10 years’ experience in all aspects of accounting. Must demonstrate and exercise exceptional communication skills. Expert knowledge of Excel, problem-solving and analytical skills required.
