Job Description

Payments is a rapidly evolving, high profile space and JP
Morgan Chase (NYSE: JPM), as one of the industry’s largest and most important
players, has an enormous opportunity to shape its future. The Payments Networks
Office is at the nexus of these exciting developments by redefining our
relationships with our Network partners.

As a Debit Relationship Manager, you will lead and manage
the firm’s relationship with 9 debit networks and the associated gateways, as
well as serve as the Payment Network relationship manager with Visa for the
Retail Line of Business. In this role, you will interface with multiple
management levels and relationship contacts within the PIN Debit/ EBT Network
and the Visa Debit team, along with Chase Merchant Services and Retail senior
management, development, marketing, sales and account managers to ensure that
Chase goals are being met and that all business and technical requirements are
addressed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Managing relationship with numerous Debit Networks: Accel,
AFFN, CU24, Interlink, Jeanie, NYCE, Shazam, Star, and ATH

- Managing relationship with debit-associated gateways:
WorldPay, First Data and Fiserv

- Managing the Chase Issuing Retail relationship with Visa:

- Ensuring that the strategic and operational needs of the
Retail business (Debit and ATM, Digital Account Opening) are

clearly articulated to Visa

- Effectively advocate on behalf of Chase to Visa to achieve
Chase Retail goals and objectives

- Take the lead on resolving operational matters, waivers
and IT engagement and issue management when necessary

- Contract matters, such as Statements of Work for new
initiatives

- Partnering with Debit Product Management to aid in
defining our debit product roadmap and market strategy

- Overseeing rules interpretation relative to the Debit/EBT
Networks and Visa Debit and ensuring that issues are

satisfactorily resolved

- Project support and coordination with Debit Networks
(Pinless eComm, Pinless POS, Cost-based Routing)

- Acting as SME for E-WIC program, Debit and EBT

- Coordinating testing with Debit Networks

- Supporting relevant audits (NYCE Sponsor and Processor
Assessments)

- Representing Chase at Debit industry forums

- Communicating Debit news and relevant insights across the
organization as appropriate

- Proactively identifying ways to improve processes and
procedures

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree required.

- 5+ years in the Consumer Payments industry; Debit
experience particularly helpful

- Evidence of leadership, initiative, accountability,
productivity and teamwork required

- Effective leadership in managing multiple initiatives,
multi-tasking and prioritization in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

- Relationship management skills, working with internal and
external individuals and organizations with a demonstrated ability to
influence, add value, reach consensus and create win-win solutions

- Strong oral and written communication skills and an
ability to synthesize and articulate complex topics into simple, clear communications
to all levels of the organizations

- Strong strategic and analytic thinking skills combined
with an attention to detail
