Technical Professional – Piping

Under direct supervision, independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and minimum of 2 years related experience, with typical experience ranging from 3-7 years.

Responsibilities

+ Execute pipe stress analysis, procure specialty piping items and perform quality checks on construction deliverables

+ Must be able to multi tasks and work on several small projects at the same time

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications

+ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering is a must

+ Candidate must have a minimum of project related experience

+ Capable of doing pipe stress analysis utilizing CAESAR II software

+ Capable of procuring specialty Piping Items

+ Familiar with international codes and standards including ASME B31.3, ASTM, ANSI and PIP
