Technology and Enterprise Services (TES) is a driving strength behind the BlackRock employee experience – delivering strategic technology, security, facilities and real estate solutions. Telecommunication and Expense Management

The Telecommunication Expense Management team is responsible for the quoting and provisioning of Data and Voice circuits for BlackRock globally. We are also responsible for the invoice and expense management associated with all of our Telco vendors. This includes oversight of payment to all of our carriers. The team leads data/voice circuits, telephone services and mobile wireless services globally expansive of our Aladdin clients. We have a budget of 30+m. We are responsible for the management of inventory of all services as well.

Role Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the main responsibilities are:

+ You will own the quoting, provisioning, ordering and installation for voice & data circuits.

+ Wired line inventory circuit management.

+ You will be a great partner with Global Telecommunication Carriers.

+ Fiscal management of the annual budget of 34+m

+ Partnering with TEM’s client bases – Networking, Telecommunication, Finance, Sourcing and Vendor Management and Aladdin teams.

+ Respective reporting to our various clientele.

+ Collaborating with the BlackRock Accounts Payable team to ensure Telecom carriers receive timely payments for services rendered.

+ Research and challenge a threshold break on invoices that are billing either higher or lower of the original contracted rates.

+ Accountable for timely delivery of services for assigned projects and BAU.

+ Flexibility to cover for wireless initiatives when required.

You will have a telecom expense management background and experience with data and voice circuits. Inventory control background a plus. You have experience with Excel and reporting. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Telecom space. You possess effective communication and leadership skills. You have the ability to meet ambitious deadlines for delivery of telecom services and be detail oriented. Your background should include a history of driving automated creative changes to manual efforts.
