Job Description

OneMain, the largest non-bank lender in the United States, has been helping consumers take care of life’s expenses through personal loans for over 100 years. The Vice President/SMD, Marketing Analytics will apply a GM, enterprise mindset to unify, maintain and build our digital, affiliate and direct mail analytics strategy in order to assess performance of channels and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

In this role, you will lead, develop and design an industry leading analytics function that will:

+ Lead analytics function to drive value creation across entire suite of marketing channels, including direct mail, search, affiliates, social and others.

+ Assess and recommend business cases for channels and strategies to maximize profitability with a focus on best practices and compliance

+ Drive performance of a team conducting industry leading statistical marketing analysis in support of marketing decisions

+ Monitor performance of marketing channels, segmentation strategy

+ Deliver timely campaign reporting and analysis

+ Validate and test assumptions relative to channel optimization and other marketing decisions

+ Create and improve monitoring dashboards to support efficient decision making

+ Measure, and improve assessment of return on investment across marketing channels


+ 10 + years’ experience in senior leadership roles within marketing and credit analytics

+ Deep experience in developing and optimizing direct mail programs using credit bureau and alternative data

+ Experience of leveraging customer lifetime value/ net present value to drive marketing decisions

+ Experience in leveraging analytics to drive digital marketing optimization – affiliates, search, display, website etc.

+ Experience in designing and measuring performance of media mix tests and using those to optimize overall marketing spend.

+ Experience in communicating to an executive board and management team

+ Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to gain trust and achieve business objectives
