BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

Green Package Analytics & Support (GPAS) within GP Services is part of the Blackrock Data Services (BDS) organization. GPAS is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of Risk and Performance Data, Analytics and Reporting to our clients through the release of the Green Package products. The GP is a comprehensive suite of reports and tools which allow portfolio management teams to manage market risk and make sound investment decisions. GPAS also provides the daily risk reporting and ad-hoc client support to over $17T of BlackRock and BRS assets across tens of thousands of portfolios. GPAS is a fast paced and challenging environment with team members who all share an interest in Finance and Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Working as a part of GPAS management to implement strategic decisions

+ Key contributor to the Delaware GPAS management team ensuring appropriate staffing, depth charts and succession plans are managed for the location

+ All facets of people management to be performed including: coaching and development of staff, leading and motivating as well as performing goal-settings, 1-1s, mid-year and year-end staff reviews

+ Building strong relationships with key internal & external business stake holders and exceed their expectations

+ Providing escalation support for managing client inquiries on Green Package related matters. Follow through on issues with relevant internal teams

+ Ability to research and problem solve with a strong focus on automation and process improvement

+ Championing change within the team and participating/ leading various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts, cost/benefit analysis and computing the resulting project ROI.

+ Continuously streamlining the Green Package process through production and engineering improvement

+ Performing control and risk oversight for functions performed within team including but not limited to:

+ Identifying, managing and mitigating operational risks

+ Escalating risk and service issues on a timely basis.

+ Understanding and adherence for all regulatory requirements

+ Embracing the BlackRock Principles and role modelling these behaviors to team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ VP-equivalent or higher prior to work break; or 7+ years relevant experience

+ 2+ year voluntary career break

+ Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience; demonstrated experience in leading teams of professionals, staff development, coaching and performance assessments

+ Experience managing large teams supporting global functions, provide guidance to junior team members

+ Experience in working with senior stakeholders/ remote manager

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Enthusiasm and ability to work in a team-environment, multi-tasking, collaboration and effective communication skills are a must.
