Job Description

Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions. Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications. Perform production triage and improvement. Conduct application design and code review. Perform technical analysis of existing code and provide improvement. Code and document artifacts, including unit test plans. Perform functional, integration, regression, and user experience testing utilizing Agile methodologies. Create SOAP and REST based web services for client use. Program applications using groovy rule engine, and tuning application performance. Configure IBM eXtreme cache in order to participate in high volume application development.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and 5 years of progressively responsible experience working with Core J2EE in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Coding and documenting artifacts, including unit test plans; Performing functional, integration, regression, and user experience testing utilizing Agile methodologies; Creating SOAP and REST based web services for client use; Programming applications using groovy rule engine, and tuning application performance; and, Configuring IBM eXtreme cache in order to participate in high volume application development.
