Job Description

One Main is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader who will manage a team of recruitment professionals and be a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team. S/he needs to be an engaged partner with human resources and business leaders, serving as a thought leader to ensure OneMain is able to develop talent pipeline strategies and build capability to effectively recruit/assess candidates for key functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in designing, building and leading a quality Talent Acquisition function for a high growth, innovative, fast paced organization.


Develop Recruiting strategy and planning:

+ Lead and execute key strategic recruiting initiatives to drive increased client satisfaction, while providing overall strategic leadership, direction and management

+ Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement a talent pipeline strategy that ensures future talent needs are being met.

+ Provide leadership to the business to drive the alignment and adoption of OneMain’s Recruiting model, ensuring consistency in the approach to communicating the company’s Employment Value Proposition, leveraging our Employment Brand, and providing a consistent candidate experience for talent at all levels.

+ Advise senior management in developing appropriate talent strategies based on current and future business needs (early in career, diversity, search assignments etc.)

+ Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices

+ Partner closely with HR and business to leaders to develop recruiting targets for specific business units

Recruitment Operations

+ Ensure Recruiting processes and practices comply with relevant legislation, policy and best practice, in particular all forms of discrimination and equal opportunities.

+ Utilize Recruiting metrics and forecasts to plan and adjust requisition workloads ensuring team is able to respond to changes in business recruitment volumes in a timely manner.

+ Effectively manage the productivity and efficiency of the hiring process against plan through ratio of metrics.

+ Ensure that the recruiting team is maximizing the use of direct sourcing techniques and minimize the reliance on third party agencies.

+ Manage recruitment team spend against budget

+ Ensure recruiters are trained and up to date on proper usage of the recruiting tools (e.g. ATS, job boards, social media) and multi-skilled across different businesses, functions and specialist areas as appropriate

+ Where needed, develop and provide expert advice on best sourcing channels and market trends, advise business leaders on best practice in the recruitment and selection process

Client Management

+ Support the ongoing development of relationships with key stakeholders to identify strategies, and achieve the recruitment goals across multiple locations

+ Point of escalation for clients and issue resolution

+ Responsible for ensuring team delivery against strategic Recruiting initiatives / projects

+ Analyze, consolidate and present recruitment metrics on quarterly basis (and ad hoc as required)


+ Proven success managing a Strategic Recruiting function for a fast-paced network organization

+ Consultative recruiting approach with ability to influence; high emotional intelligence

+ Strong external network of colleagues and executives

+ Deep knowledge of sourcing avenues, from campus recruiting to senior level executives

+ A demonstrated passion for talent management with proven experience in setting an extremely high bias for talent assessment.

+ Exceptional verbal/written communication skills.

+ Hands on proactive, extremely resourceful and tenacious management style; comfortable multi-tasking

+ Extremely organized with unfailing attention to detail

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills. High level of comfort/ease interacting with all levels of the organization. Professional and executive presence conducive to working with senior officers.

+ Proven track record of building influential relationships and leverage alliances to garner support for ideas with executives, clients, peers and business partners.

+ Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

+ Critical thinking skills.

+ Persuade and influence decision makers.


Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related business studies.

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience full life-cycle recruiting; 5+ years in a leadership role.

Experience in a fast paced Human Resources environment is preferred.
