HCM Cloud – Payroll Business Analyst – Associate
Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
is a best-in-class global HR service delivery organization of approximately
1,000 people, servicing the entire global population of JPMC, currently
totaling over 240,000 employees worldwide in 62 countries. HRSD provides vital
services in the area of Payroll, HR Call Center (accessHR), Recruiting
Operations, Employee On and Off Boarding, Data Management, Benefits
Administration and Project Management. HRSD supports the firm in achieving its
function is implementing Oracle’s cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM)
System and embarking on a multi-year global initiative to simplify, digitize,
and integrate our HR services. As part
of this initiative, we will be replacing our North America (US & Canada)
PeopleSoft Payroll and Timekeeping platforms.
We are seeking candidates for a manager role on our North America
Payroll team to drive and support this initiative.
candidate will 1) have direct experience in implementing and managing Oracle’s
HCM payroll, time and tax configuration set up for a large, multi-state and/or
multi-national payroll operation and 2) had direct accountability for managing
the on-going system configuration needs including release management. Experience implementing other cloud-based
platforms such as Workday will also be considered, especially if the legacy
platform was PeopleSoft.
Key HCM payroll and timekeeping
implementation responsibilities include:
+ NorthAmerica payroll, time and tax configuration are completed as needed based onbusiness practices, policies and statutory laws to enable accurate paycalculation.
+ Overseeing configuration design, testing, data conversion mapping; activeparticipation in business readiness and change management.
+ Oversee the refinement of the ‘outof the box’ HCM payroll and time workflows through configurations and/orother technical solutions to maximize efficiency and minimize manualprocess steps
+ Postimplementation, you will also be responsible for maintaining a compliant systemconfiguration, oversee the release management and other business initiativesinvolving system configuration set up partnering with various internal andexternal stakeholders.
+ Administrationof system change request control process
+ Participate internal/externalstakeholders meeting(s) or workshops to interpret, translate and assessbusiness initiatives, statutory law changes and release updates into functionalrequirements specifications
+ Act as theliaison to HR Technologies during development, programming and testing of businessinitiatives, release updates, etc.
+ Overseeingand processing system configuration change requests
+ Systemconfiguration related process, audit and governance documentation
+ Participatein merger and acquisition as well as divestiture activities to ensure allPayroll Operations requirements are satisfied and implementation/divestiture issuccessful for clients.
+ Providesubject matter expertise to coordinate research and analysis in case of payrollerror events; recommend and implement approved long and short-term solutionsfor best practices.
+ Manage andlead the HCM Business Analysts within Payroll including training, coaching andmotivating team members.Ensure payrollteam members have the requisite skills, knowledge and abilities to delivereffectively.
+ Fosterproductive strategic partnerships across the HCM Program Management team,internal counterparts in workforce technology, finance, compensation, benefits,HRIS, legal, and corporate tax as well as with our Oracle and our strategicintegrator contacts.
+ Demonstratedknowledge of and Oracle HCM and/or other cloud payroll and timekeeping systemsexperience
+ Directexperience in transitioning from PeopleSoft to Oracle HCM; prior experience indesigning and delivering an integration between the two platforms a plus
+ You must have 5+years recent experience of Payroll including PeopleSoft query, SQL and SQR
+ Knowledgeof process management; experience in process re-engineering is a plus
+ Experiencedin identifying and mitigating operational risk through effective controls
+ Problemsolver and possess project management skills and systems experience toeffectively bring change by incorporating system enhancements and developmentof new processes.
+ Ability to quickly absorb product/system knowledge, process informationand apply appropriately to meet organizational needs
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal,relationship and consensus building skills with the ability to influence at all levelsof the organization; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas
+ Experiencewith building test plan, test cases, testing execution and documentation.
+ Team player and able to manage andmotivate staff both domestically and in global remote locations
+ Outstanding work ethic with a highdegree of confidentiality
+ Able to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast pacedenvironment
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business orAccounting
+ Advanced PC skills, including MS Office Suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Access, Project)
