Marketing Communications Specialist (Job Number: 205060W-01)


DuPont’s industry-leading
Transportation & Industrial (T&I) business segment provides high-performance
engineering resins, adhesives, lubricants and parts to engineers and designers
in the transportation, electronics, industrial, consumer and healthcare markets
to enable material systems solutions for demanding applications and
environments. Reporting to the Global Business Communications Director, the
Marketing Communications Specialist will play a key role in advancing the
business’s goals and objectives globally, assisting in the development and
implementation of marketing communications strategies and telling the stories
of T&AP’s activities and accomplishments for various audiences, including
the media, investors, industry specialists, DuPont employees and the general public.

Contribute to the creation and management of integrated communicationsplans and budget across industry or platform, addressing relevantinternal and external audiences to help drive regional and/or global businessobjectives, acquiring support as needed from Marketing, Global Product Managers, Commercialand Applications teams, and others to drive an integrated plan

+ Leverage existing andcreate new common tools, processes, practices across the business that arealigned with relevant standards and policies

+ Organization and upkeep oflibrary of digital assets and collateral (e.g. fact sheets, presentations,photos, literature) and other shared resources

+ As part of the Communications team, play a key role in ensuring closealignment with marketing, commercial sales teams and other functions

+ Ensure correct implementation of all brand and design guidelines

+ Develop required elements of the communications mix-including videos,promotional collateral, e-publications, email campaigns, andadvertising-ensuring integrated execution across the different channels withindefined areas of industries/platforms

+ Support exhibitions and events, including the development of thoughtleadership materials

+ Collaborate with appropriate team members todrive targeted, relevant, and timely communications through efficient andeffective channel utilization and mix; ensuring message relevance andconsistency. Ensure that strategy is consistently executed across multiplechannels (PR, Web / Online, internal, social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing,influencer relations), with the support of Global Communication team experts

+ Work with the Global Digital Leader and team to ensure optimization ofcommunications across the digital platforms

+ Develop news releases covering T&I’s product introductions, events and partnerships

+ Collaborate with Marketing, IT and agency resources to develop,coordinate and implement campaign tactics

+ Support internal communications in featuring T&I success stories andfostering engagement with T&AP strategy

+ Other miscellaneousactivities and/or ad-hoc requests as required



+ Undergraduate degree in communications-relatedfield

+ Strong verbal and written communications skills

+ At least seven years of experience in corporate marketingcommunications, public relations, or relevant communications field

+ Highly organized and attention to detail iscritical

+ Working knowledge of digital marketing/socialmedia methodologies and related technologies


+ Experience in B2B communications

+ Experience managing trade shows or similarpromotional events

+ Advanced degree in marketing communications orrelated field
