Sr. Purification Scientist

job summary:

As a Senior Scientist in the Technical Development Group, you will be producing resins to clean antiserums, troubleshoot large scale antibody production, blend processed antiserums, and perform pilot runs on all products.

This position will perform a variety of moderately complex laboratory techniques, including prep scale column chromatography. You will maintain accurate and current documentation in accordance with company SOPs (in addition to revising and creating new SOPs) and GMP.


+ MS/PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology

+ Knowledge of QSR, GMP and ISO regulations

+ Knowledge of Immunoassay Instrumentation such as Cobas and Hitachi including equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus

+ Experience with chromatography techniques used in antibody purification, including SEC, ion- exchange, Protein A and custom affinity. Ability to perform tests including BCA, IEP, RID and Ouchterlony
