The purpose of this position is to serve in both a pre-sales and delivery capacity with the primary scope being to serve as a business engagement lead for both Sirius Strategic Assessments and Proof of Concept (POC) solution offerings. This position will also support multiple business development opportunities in partnership with the sales team, produce clear and concise project deliverables, and assist in the architectural design of client’s next generation Data and Analytics solution ecosystem.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Leads discussions around a client’s strategic business and technology objectives and goals to identify and define Data and Analytics solutions
+ Participates in the sales process, including:
+ Leading in uncovering client needs
+ Defining overall customer objectives
+ Working with the Practice Managers and Solution Architects to architect to create project estimates
+ Leads Statement of Work (SOW) generation for strategic assessment and POC engagements
+ Develops analytics strategies through consultative engagements and/or planned workshops with clients
+ Creates and delivers solution artifacts through presentations, proof of concepts (POC), and development engagements
+ Partners with clients to identify appropriate technologies for accomplishing their strategic business goals
+ Showcases value to clients with quality deliverables to extend services partnership after initial Strategic Assessment and/or POC
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
+ At least seven (7) years’ experience in Data and Analytics solutions consulting, to include at least two (2) years of Data and Analytics presales experience
Other Position Requirements:
+ Demonstrated understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, to include knowledge in all of the following areas:
+ Public Cloud Solution Architectures and Products (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Public cloud Data Warehouse Solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, Azure SQL Server DW)
+ Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
+ ELT/ETL technologies and design patterns
+ Experience working with teams in the architecture, design, development and deployment of BI, Data Warehouse or Analytics solutions
+ Demonstrated ability to provide engagement management leadership for Data and Analytics Strategic Assessment offerings
+ Demonstrated communication and presentation skills from the C-suite level to individual contributors in an organization
+ Demonstrated SDLC knowledge
+ Ability to drive refinement and document client requirements
+ Demonstrated ability to maintain overall delivery plans, design documents, implementation strategy plans

The position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
