Job Description

The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO). Finance Technology, part of CT, has a charter to meet the technology needs of the Global Finance organization across MIS, General Ledger, Regulatory, Forecasting and reporting functions. Finance Technology has embarked upon a multi-year to convergence of Regulatory and MIS onto the Corporate Data Lake.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

+ BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

+ Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

+ Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems

+ Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages , Java, Python

+ Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices

+ Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

+ Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture

+ 4+ years’ experience with databases and pl/sql (Oracle, Impala, etc)

+ Experience working with third-party analytical tools, Tableau etc

+ Big Data Exposure e.g Hadoop/ HDFS/ Spark / Scala desirable

+ Experience in Agile SDLC and working proficiency in developmental toolsetsKnowledge of various financial instruments is desirable
