Associate Technical Professional – Mechanical
Under direct supervision, the Associate Technical Professional independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within mechanical engineering, the incumbent assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
+ Responsible for design, specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems
+ May also include design, specification, selection and services of mechanical systems for buildings such as gases, fluids, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning and vertical transportation
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Experience in Microsoft Applications are required
+ Experience and skill with SolidWorks and/or Pro-Eand FMEA is preferred
