Job Description

As a member of our Software Engineering Group we look

As a member of our DECO Software
Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions
that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team
of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development,
coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high
quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and
other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed.
Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software
development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working
with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of
technologists from all over the world.

responsibilities will be:

+ Part of a scrum team to deliver high quality softwareto the business

+ Working closely with our product partners to helpestimate and prioritize the team’s backlog and define stories needed todeliver the solution

+ Able to understand production issues and resolvingdefects.

+ Deliver the defined solutions for the projects thru theAgile process

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and
capabilities, including:

+ BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

+ Advanced knowledge of application, data andinfrastructure architecture disciplines

+ Understanding of architecture and designacross all systems

+ Working proficiency in developmentaltoolsets

+ Knowledge of industry wide technologystrategies and best practices

+ Ability to work in large, collaborativeteams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building aninnovative culture

+ Proficiency in one or more generalpurpose programming languages including Java J2EE technologies

+ Understanding of software skills such asbusiness analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

+ Java -implementation skills withJava and JEE. Spring – Strong implementation skills with core Spring Frameworkand including other sub-projects like Spring JMS, Spring Security and SpringData.

+ Experienced with current webtechnologies: JavaScript (including MVC and Flux design patterns used in SinglePage Apps), HTML5, CSS preprocessors (SASS and/or LESS) and font icons, webframeworks – React, and front-end build tools (Grunt and/or Gulp) a plus

+ CSS/JS Feature support betweenplatforms and browsers

+ Have full appreciation for the SDLC-including strict controls around release processes, production environmentsand performance, and metrics
