As an Associate Systems Engineer, within our Enterprise Technology division on our Applications and Technologies team, you will be responsible for the support of a variety of technologies that are owned by the Applications and Technologies team.

+ Purpose: Infrastructure support of software release practices.

+ Scope: Support all operations and software development staff across the company.

What you’ll do for us

+ Support Identity and Access Management for internal and external applications (ServiceNow, SendGrid, Sentry, etc)

+ Regularly engage with application development and system engineering teams for troubleshooting

+ With CSC’s Infrastructure Services organization, monitor and maintain software support tools for health, scalability, and stability

+ Support incoming requests

+ Perform in-depth technical troubleshooting

+ Follow agreed SLA

+ Task prioritization

+ Alert Response (Solarwinds, BSM)

+ Develop and maintain runbooks

+ Recommend process improvements

Technical skills, experience and qualifications that will make you successful in this role

+ Provide support for server and web application incidents.

+ Familiarity and experience with SQL

+ Command Line

+ Support customer management databases (Oracle)

+ Support financial transaction applications

+ Support order entry applications

+ Perform engineering and administration duties required to maintain the 3rd party applications hosted within the production environments.

+ Provide technical expertise and perform tasks for all related infrastructure projects, including business continuity and disaster recovery.

+ Work closely with business, Information Security associates and outside vendors to effectively design, plan and execute computing environment additions and changes.

+ Work to ensure synchronization across cohesive tiered environments.

+ Prepares effective, clear and concise written communications.

+ Contribute to the advancement of application private cloud architecture and procedures via automation and documentation.

+ Ability to learn how to automate procedures to produce repeatable software builds and releases

+ Strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

+ Ability to work in a fast passed, highly dynamic environment

+ Experience with system monitoring tools

+ Some experience and Knowledge of build artifact storage methodologies and lifecycle

+ Some experience with enterprise SSO (SAML, Forgerock, PING, AD FS)

+ Some experience across programming languages (Java, .Net, scripting languages)
