creating the Corteva IT story and providing content for all manner of executive
and internal IT communications.
Accountable for coordinating executive calendars across ITLT. Maintaining an enterprise-wide strategic
lens, understands the importance of timing and sequencing of messaging, and
proactively provides content and logistics support to enable Corteva CIO to be
effective, timely and transparent. Actively works to amplify messaging that
supports CIO’s strategic agenda for the IT organization.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
+ Build a long-term roadmap toexecute on communication priorities, defines norms and frequency ofengagement on various communication platforms in alignment with CorporateCommunications Team.
+ Ensure communicationinitiatives drive CIO messages with consistency, determine creative waysto pulse-check resonance and impact of executive messaging
+ Build and maintain a CIO andITLT focused events and communications calendar
+ Lead preparation and planningfor Global IT Town Hall meetings and bi-monthly IT leadership meetings -to include reservation of rooms and equipment setup
+ Interface with ExternalAffairs to create consistency in messaging
+ Maintain awareness of IT’sobjectives, key strategic initiatives to incorporate them in eventplanning process
+ Aid the CIO with executivepresentations, communications, and special projects
+ Create content for boardpresentations, Global IT communications, the ITLT organization messaging
+ Measure effectiveness of ITcentric communication efforts
+ Work with Strategy &Planning peers to gather the relevant statistics and data then craft intocompelling vision/story
+ Available for reactive deckupdates on an as-needed, real-time basis
+ Ensure alignment withCorporate Communications at all times
+ Content creation acrossmultiple formats and mediums – Audio/Video/Slide Decks
+ Familiarity with theinformation technology domain
+ Exposure to social mediaplatforms and able to proficiently use these mediums
+ Strong knowledge of MSPowerPoint, MS Office Tools and Outlook 365
+ Cross-functionalcommunication and teamwork skills
+ Very Strong verbal andwritten communication skills
+ Ability to craft a story fromdata that speaks to an overall vision and strategy
Experience & Education Required
+ 5+ years of experience invaried executive facing communication centric roles
+ Bachelor’s incommunications/journalism/liberal arts preferred
