As the Vice President of Operations you will play an integral role in laying the foundation for the creation of a company with a data driven focus to match a customer experience orientation. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only use the latest technology, but to help shape the strategy of a new and growing company. You will work in partnership with all functional areas as we build our foundation for success. Responsibilities include:
+ Participate as a member of the company’s management team in the planning, organizing, leading and controlling of the company.
+ Build the Operations infrastructure including workflow management, process manuals, call center functionality, and service center capability.
+ Evaluate the performance of the Operations Department with an eye towards continuous improvement.
+ Lead the Operations Department in the development of financial strategic and tactical plans based on company objectives, technological advances, and corporate plans.
+ Assist with managing the maintenance and development of the automated systems that are the foundational tools with which we execute our strategy.
+ Examine and evaluate technical instructions and data written, oral, mathematical, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Present alternative actions, and deal with abstract variables.
+ Ability to apply algebra to compute fractions, percentages, ratios, units of measure, compute discount, interest and selling price. Calculate surfaces, weights and measures, and variables.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and financial reports. Write reports, policies, procedures and other documentation.
+ Communicate clearly when conducting training.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, or customers.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ A desire to challenge the status quo and always look for better ways to achieve our objectives and serve our customers.
+ Some travel may be required.
+ Masters degree or equivalent job related experience.
+ Ten years of management or supervision experience.
