Credit Strategy Analysis Lead
The Credit Strategy Analytics department is searching for an Assistant Vice President Credit Strategy Analysis Lead in our Wilmington, DE office. This team is responsible for 1st line of credit analytics activities in the bank across the product lifecycle of acquisition, existing customer and collections. This role will be specifically under the ECM Credit Strategy Analytics. The High Risk Account Management (HRAM) Team in ECM Credit Analytics is responsible for mitigating the overall risk of the portfolio through a variety of risk management techniques, including Authorization Management, Credit Line Decrease, Account Closure, and Payment Holds. Additionally, the team creates the account level risk parameters that are available to the Marketing and Strategic Analytics team for portfolio growth initiatives.
What will you be doing?
•Credit Analysis (40%25)
•Formulate and conduct extensive analytical exercises in order to improve existing business strategies and policies.
•Analyze and Optimize transaction level risks from authorizations and payments, balancing customer experience with risk mitigation.
•Develop and recommend strategy changes in exposure management – high risk universe, line decrease, judgmental review and closure.
•The role will control a significant portion of business strategy and process and will be held responsible for the results of those areas.
•Stakeholder / Project Management (40%25)
•Work / communicate with in-country risk team and other CRO functional teams such as Decision Science, Acquisitions and ECM.
•Develop and mentor analytical team, both local and international.
•Compliance / Monitoring (20%25)
•Ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
•Ensure proper policy and process monitoring.
What we’re looking for:
•4-year college degree required; quantitative disciplines preferred
•5 years of analytical experience in financial services industry; credit card experience preferred
•2 years of experience with SAS/SQL or other relevant statistical tools
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information.
•Computer literacy / proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, UNIX and MS office
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, in both written and verbal form.
•Previous experience in managing analytical team
