We are searching for a Strategic Development Leader to join our Corporate Strategy team.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key responsibilities:
Growth Planning / Market Work
+ Identify areas for growth within existing platforms as well as in adjacent white-spaces
+ Deep dive into markets evaluating them along structural dimensions of attractiveness
+ Develop deep domain knowledge of such new markets through primary/proprietary market work
+ Build M&A pipeline for enabling market entry
+ Simplify the complex, developing compelling presentations and models to enable decision making
+ Convince senior decision makers of market attractiveness
Acquisitions / Diligence
+ Lead the outside in diligence on identified acquisition candidates
+ Cultivate management at targets prioritized as attractive
+ Lead detailed strategic, market, commercial and financial diligence on targets
+ Develop detailed financial models for revenue and operational costs for targets
+ Create comprehensive presentations and models to facilitate decision making
+ Partner with the Corporate Development team to successfully execute deals
+ Serve as partner to the leaders of various business platform
+ Train and mentor Business Development leaders in operating companies
+ Modify and improve upon established strategic planning processes
Education and/or Experience
•4+ years at a top tier management consulting firm, senior business development roles at Fortune 500 Industrial / multi-sector companies
•Technical undergraduate degree with top tier MBA preferred
•Strong analytical capabilities
•Acumen and aptitude for technology
•Demonstrated desire to get into Industrial markets
•Substantial acquisition diligence experience a plus
•2-3 years of line role work experience in relevant industries a plus
•Global experience a plus
