Reporting to the Regional Reward Director, as a Reward Partner, you will play a pivotal role as a partner to internal clients providing consultative support in terms of compensation concepts and benchmarking. Working closely with the HR Business Partners, you will gain a deeper insight into the various roles and provide analysis in terms of marketplace benchmarking.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Reward Partner, you will provide consultancy and analytical support to both the compensation team and internal clients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to liaise with Local and Global project teams to accomplish compensation objectives. Additional responsibilities can be found below:
+ Use compensation concepts (for example, Role Evaluation).
+ Prepare and deliver presentations; review ad hoc client-based information requests
+ Implement AZ’s reward policy at a business area or geographic basis through development and deployment of specific reward interventions
+ Manage local reward programs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and identifying areas for change to enhance impact
+ Contribute to the development of Global AZ wide reward policy and process and provide input into enhancements
+ Liaise with managers and HR colleagues to understand business requirements and tailor reward solutions
+ Lead delivery in multi-disciplinary projects, covering a number of reward concepts, including job analysis and evaluation, benchmarking, Total Reward positioning, segmentation etc.
+ Present innovative solutions to challenges and gain buy-in from managers
+ Support the communication of reward decisions both within and outside the HR team
+ Work across the HR function and business, seeking to ensure intervention are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organizational objectives
+ Maintain an understanding of external reward environment, including changes in legal, regulatory and best practice approaches to inform the development of appropriate reward solutions for AZ
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
+ 5+ years of experience
+ Experience with designing commercial sales incentives plans in the life science industry or even outside ie, benchmarking
+ Expert knowledge of policies, process and procedures pertaining to compensation
+ Significant reward experience with demonstrated expertise in strategic and operational reward management.
+ Experience of translating and leading the execution of global policies and processes within a local context.
+ Experience working in a multi-national, multi-division corporation.
+ Experience managing reward-related merger and acquisition activities.
+ Experience in working effectively in a cross functional team.
+ Established networks within the HR and reward community in the UK.
+ An understanding of the core principles and approaches in project management and can demonstrate experience of project management methodology adoption in business delivery.
+ Can demonstrate through experience, the ability to engage, influence, negotiate with major stakeholders at all levels of the business.
+ Comfortable delivering complex messages in simple ways through presentations face to face or virtually as well as experience of involvement in employee consultation across Reward area.
+ A demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and improvement.
+ High level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
