Job Description:

Responsible for data management and business system integration. Provides analytical support for multiple areas in Collections Services. Manages the data within Collections and Recovery. Supports achievement of business goals by gathering, extracting, validating, and provide complex analysis to support implementation of strategic plans, system enhancements, and control related items. Additional responsibilities include managing large scale corporate initiatives and ensuring data and analytical needs are meet for the business. This position requires being the subject matter expert on multiple data points across multiple products. A sound understanding of Collections and Recovery operations and technology processes providing the data. The position requires interaction with all areas of Collections and all levels of management to support the development, socialization, and process design for various initiatives

May be filled as an Analyst II or III depending on experience and skill set.

Required Skills:

+ 2+ years’ experience with SAS/SQL programming & analytics

+ Previous Collections experience

+ Ability to work with all levels of management across numerous lines

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Must be able to handle multiple priorities at one time

+ Proficient with MS Office (EXCEL, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

+ Previous experience working within the Bank of America data infrastructure (BACARDI, The W, SQL Server, etc)

+ Previous experience with DB2 and Teradata platform

+ Project Management Experience

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SAS, and InfoQuest at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Analyzes portfolio trends, concerning risk, loss trends, marketing performance, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Will participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 2-5 years experience preferred.
