In the ever-changing technical landscape of virtualization, mobility, and server computing, the Senior Network Engineer serves an integral role in moving the business forward! This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced organization, broaden your skillset, and work with the latest technologies. Manage software/hardware standards, engineer computing and application solutions, and support CSC business and development users by fixing problems and optimizing productivity.

What you’ll do for us

+ Design and manage Global Networks, Data Center networks(Cisco ACI), network security on firewalls with basic knowledge of functionality including threat management, intrusion detection & protection, and identity awareness access

+ Work with network analyzer tools and review packet captures

+ Maximizes network performance by monitoring; scheduling upgrades; finding opportunities for optimization and automation where possible

+ Ensure all support and operational documentation is ready for our Tier 1 support teams

+ Provide technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members

+ Approximately 15% travel, after hours support, and on-call rotation is required

Technical skills, experience and qualifications that will make you successful in this role

+ 5+ years in design, implementation, and management of an enterprise network

+ Experience with Cisco Nexus Architecture including Meraki, 2000, 5000, 7000, and 9000 platforms as well as Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI and other Cisco platforms

+ Experience with Palo Alto FW, F5, Local Traffic Manager(LTM)/Global Traffic Manager(GTM), and Application Security Manager(ASM)

+ Advanced knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VPN, and MPLS

+ Quality of Service knowledge strongly desired for converged infrastructure

+ Experience with enterprise proxy solutions (Bluecoat systems preferred)

+ Experience planning, documenting, and implementing mid to large sized projects with multiple dependencies

+ Advanced knowledge of EGP and ACI a plus

+ Ability to colloborate with team during planning, coordinating, and installation of services

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

+ Ability to thrive in a complex environment with the desire and ability to grow professionaly

+ Impeccable integrity

+ Advances Cisco certifications preferred

+ Experience with Cisco VoIP and ISR voice gateways

+ Some automation experience expected

+ Experience with networking monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, NetFlow, iGlass, and SevOne
