Regional Quality Specialist (Job Number: 204157W-01)

+ This position will report to the West Region Quality Manager and will support projects in the Europe, North and South America operations.
+ This position manages regional projects in support of Quality objectives. Supports business operations and other functions as needed for root cause investigations, quality management system improvement, customer interactions, and quality related aspects of supplier and contract manufacturer relationship. Analyzes ongoing regional quality performance of product and process data, summarizes quality performance and customer feedback for review by business leadership.Supports reviews of specifications, customer agreements and performs notification of changes.Collects and reviews data to provide early identification of quality trends and improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities : (not limited to):
+ Provides continuous improvement in business quality systems and quality performance through process and quality improvement tools.
+ Must have ability to lead multi-disciplinary quality improvement teams and have knowledge of customer needs.
+ Implements quality management system best practices, uses strong analytical and problem solving skills to improve customer quality satisfaction and “Cost of Quality” Performance.
+ Apply knowledge of QMS, product/process design, continuous improvement quantitative methods/tools, supplier management and new product introduction to deliver capable business processes.
+ Performs reviews of customer specifications, agreements and change notifications.
+ Leads or supports customer interactions in resolving or addressing quality related matters.
+ Bachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering discipline or 3 to 5 years (min.) experience in the Quality field in an industrial or manufacturing environment
+ Direct experience with and knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, APQP, FMEA.
+ Proficiency required in Microsoft programs.
+ Demonstrated strong networking, interpersonal skills and professionalism to deal with all levels of management, personnel, clients and business representatives
+ Ability to travel 30-50%
+ Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification
+ Continuous Improvement or Lean Experience
+ SAP experience
+ Knowledge of Mini Tab
+ ASQ-CQE, CQM or CQA certification
Position may be located at any DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials site in the in the West Region.
