We are looking for highly capable, professional Registered Veterinary Technicians who are passionate about wellness care to work on our Wellness Center team.
What does a VetIQ Registered Veterinary Technician do?
VetIQ RVTs are committed to pet health and wellness, utilizing their knowledge, skills, and compassion to provide an exceptional experience for our clients and their pets. You?ll be the second eyes and ears of our doctors, assisting clients and guiding them through our best practices. You?ll be supporting your team and growing your career by:
+ Making recommendations for services and products aligned with our Standards of Care
+ Mentoring and working together with your team
+ Preparing vaccines
+ Restraining pets for wellness procedures and sample collection
+ Preparing samples for outside laboratory testing
+ Assisting the doctor with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive records
+ Leading a culture of safety in your center
+ Collecting payment and reviewing discharge paperwork with clients
+ Keeping the examination areas clean and ready for patients

Our Wellness Centers provide high quality preventative and wellness pet care services, including diagnostic tests, vaccinations, preventative medications, microchipping, nail trims, and more!

The Wellness Center is a unique, fresh environment for pet wellness! To be successful here, you should be comfortable with
+ Working with cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds
+ Approaching host location’s clients to educate them on our services
+ Presenting a professional appearance and positive attitude
+ Arriving on time and ready to work
+ Basic education knowledge while making recommendations to our clients
+ Working independently without direct supervision
+ Providing a superior customer experience to our clients and their pets
+ Lifting up to 150 pounds assisted, and 50 pounds without assistance
+ Standing, walking, and moving about for prolonged periods of time

+ License Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required
+ A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
+ You must be 18 years of age or older
+ You must be able to work our Wellness Center schedule, which includes varied days and times, most weekends, and some holiday work
+ Reliable transportation to our center is required and essential to success
+ You must be able to pass a criminal background check

Starting Pay: $13.00/hour
