Job Description:

Purpose and Scope:

BlackRock’s Talent Mobility program encompasses both international assignments and global relocations, along with management of the associated tax and immigration compliance risks. The Talent Mobility Partner is responsible for supporting the managers and employees of their assigned client groups and/or region with all aspects of their mobility needs.

Responsibilities include:

+ Counselling Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiters on specific Talent Mobility scenarios and policies (setting expectations, providing advice and guidance to support decision making)

+ Initiating cases with the internal Talent Mobility Ops team (gathering data from stakeholders, conducting high-level review of deliverables)

+ Communicating mobility cost estimates and relocation packages to managers and employees; manage internal approvals and report escalations when required

+ Manage and mitigate mobility related compliance risk – including global tax and immigration

+ Support internal stakeholders such as Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Tax, Finance, Legal etc. with their mobility needs

+ Partnering with Talent Mobility vendors to proactively communicate status updates and any potential issues to HR and business stakeholders

+ Contribute to the strategic development of the Talent Mobility function through ongoing awareness of market trends and execution of the team projects

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience and skills:

+ Bachelor degree in business or related field

+ 3-5 years of experience in a corporate global mobility role, international HR function or consulting firm

+ Knowledge of global immigration and tax concepts and policies a plus

+ Strong client service ethic and detail orientated

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment in order to meet required deadlines

+ Ability to work both independently and cooperatively across functions/locations with a diverse group of people

+ Must be a team player with superior communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
