Job Description

Looking for candidates to work in New Caslte, Kent and Sussex County, DE area

Innovation Behavior Services is looking for part-time employees (not contractors) to work as Part-TimeBehavior Technicians providing ABA services to children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with Autism. (We offer paid tuition to become Certified as Nationally Accredited RBT for those that do not already possess the RBT Credential.)

Behavior Technicians (BTs) work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The goals of services are to improve behavioral, social, and adaptive skill functioning of people diagnosed with autism who desire assistance to help them stay in the most inclusive setting possible. We are looking for people who are reliable, committed, organized and professional.

Behavior Technicians need to earn a current RBT certification within 90 days of hire if they do not already possess one.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to reliable transportation.
Completion of Pediatric and Adult CPR with an in-person evaluation
Ability to clear Criminal and Abuse Registry background checks
Prior work experience with special needs/autism/mental health/special education.
Ability to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician certification in order to begin working with clients
HIGHLY PREFERRED: Current Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Completion of a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours of post-secondary education.

Must be available to work at least 3 daysfrom Monday-*Saturday during one of the following Blocks of time-

In the center and/or home service:
9am-12pm
1pm-3pm *FOR SUSSEX the current position we’re hiring for has an immediate need
3pm-6pm

*Saturday hours only from 9a-12pm

In-Home only: 5pm-7pm


This is a PART-TIME permanent position. A Cover Letter detailing best times/days to reach you via telephone and a highlight of why you should be considered as a candidate is required with your resume for consideration.*Afternoon, Evening and weekend availability is preferred. Currently, limited daytime and afternoon hours are available.*
