Job Description

A career opportunity is available as a report
developer within the Monitoring & Governance team. In this role you will be part of a small
cross discipline team of high performing business analysts and software
engineers that drives the next generation of monitoring and oversight across
Chase Card Services Marketing Growth & Innovation (MG&I). The candidate will assess new requirements
for reporting and deliver solutions in the form of new or enhanced control
reports. Candidate must have strong data
gathering and manipulating experience with a strong foundation in data
analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

+ Work closelywith stakeholders to understand requests for new control reports andenhancements to existing reports. Research, evaluate and recommendsolutions to satisfy those requirements.

+ Gather andanalyze complex data to recommend a design for reporting to meet the needsof the business process

+ Partner withbusiness analysts and business process owners to model, design, develop,code, test, debug, document and implement control reports into theproduction environment through standard processes.

+ Conductdesign and code reviews in compliance with standards set forth by the teamand technical leads

+ Participatein user acceptance testing process to ensure developed report fulfillsbusiness requirements

+ Provideproduction support of existing control reports as needed

+ Comply withall technical and process controls to ensure a stable and secureproduction platform

+ Frequentlyresolves project / complex assignments with little supervision

+ Ensureprojects are completed according to established timelines

+ Maintainstrong communication with team and business process owners with regards tothe progress of development efforts

Qualifications

+ 2+ years ofexperience developing in advanced SQL (PL/SQL, T/SQL, PostgreSQL orsimilar)

+ 2+ years ofexperience developing in advanced SAS (Base 9.4 preferred) on a Unixplatform

+ DemonstratedMicrosoft Office proficiency including Access and Excel skills for dataanalysis, PowerPoint skills for executive reports creation, Word and Visiofor process documentation

+ Stronganalytical skills are critical

+ Strong verbaland written communication skills are essential

+ Excellentorganizational skills, ability to multi-task and must be a team player

+ Comfortablein a fast dynamic environment

+ Self-motivatedindividual with demonstrated ability to work independently

+ Generaldesire and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies

+ Ability to participatein cross-functional teams and interact with all levels

+ Experiencewith Teradata or Oracle is strongly preferred

+ Familiaritywith creating and deploying reports with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool(examples include, but not limited to, SSRS, Tableau, MicroStrategy,Clickview) is preferred

+ Familiaritywith sourcing and compiling data from a tool with Extract / Transform /Load (ETL) capabilities (examples include, but not limited to, SSIS,Alteryx, Trifacta, Ab Initio, R, SAS) is preferred

+ Credit Cardindustry experience is a plus

+ Bachelor’sDegree or equivalent work/training preferred
