As an Intern with our Model Governance Team, your role will be responsible for maintaining model catalog, maintaining and developing model governance infrastructure, light coding and R &D on machine learning modeling techniques. This team will value your contribution, mentor you professionally, and share valuable professional expertise. Our intern will have the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to our growing team while building marketable work experience.

This is a paid internship. We provide complete training and support. Upon graduation, successful interns may continue their career as a Full-Time member at OneMain Financial. Additional opportunities are available for those demonstrating leadership skills and a willingness to relocate.
The right qualifications for success
Ideal candidates for a OneMain Financial internship will have high energy and the drive to succeed, and will fit the following profile:
+ Current college student in Senior year pursuing a Bachelor or Masters in Statistics degree – min 3.2 GPA
+ Available full-time during summer months and flexible hours during the school year
+ Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
+ Microsoft office- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
+ Analytical skills
+ Good understanding of statistical concepts specifically regression techniques
+ Coding experience in R or Python. SAS is an added plus.
+ Ability to assimilate analytical concepts as it relates to models and validation
