Exelon is currently seeking Business students to join the Gas Department Operations staff in our Wilmington, DE location. As a Business intern, you will support the Gas Department Operations Projects objectives by providing project management and business support expertise. You will collect, analyze and present data and information i. You will document and record project tasks and activities, keep timely records and develop detailed plans. Prepare written communication and provide administrative support as needed.

Position Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and/or related field.

Be a rising sophomore or junior.

Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Experience demonstrating skill performing research and gathering information.

Experience demonstrating skill organizing assignments/projects.

Experience demonstrating skill inputting information into a computer.

Experience demonstrating skill communicating with others, both orally and in writing.

Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail software.

Ability and willingness to work full-time (40 hours) during the summer.

Ability and willingness to work extended hours for planned and/or emergency work as required.

Ability and willingness to input data into the computer for extended periods of time.

Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability and willingness to work under tight deadlines.

Ability and willingness to support multiple managers/staff members.

Ability and willingness to maintain confidential information.

Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Must successfully pass a medical screening to include a drug test.

Must successfully pass a Criminal History Background Check.

Preferred:

Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based database and/or presentation software (e.g., MS Access, PowerPoint).
