Cybersecurity Technology Controls (CTC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls, Access Management and IT Risk agendas, with a focus on stability, delivery, efficiencies and people. The disciplines within this organization are Oversight & Controls Technology, Identity & Access Management, IT Risk & Controls, and Third Party Risk Management.
The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) organization within CTC provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LOBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by CTC, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.
We are looking for a self-motivated leader who is enthusiastic and has a keen interest in understanding the business and managing risk. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent program / project management skills, a solid understanding of risk and controls for the firm and the ability to address issues independently, even when working under pressure, with challenging deadlines. Given that the role will involve communicating with employees at varying levels, with diverse functional roles, the individual will need strong communication and negotiation skills.
This role is to act as a central leader with GIAM to both contribute to what needs to be built and then work with the teams on bringing that to reality.
+ Experienced senior technologist whom has extensive cloud experience. Building for and then operating within the cloud (public).
+ This person will have strong architectural experience, knowledge of modern design patterns and approaches. Our focus will be on PAAS or Function as a Service and people without this experience need not apply.
+ Knowledge of identity and access management systems and processes including Digital certificates, Single Sign On, Kerberos, application-application accounts, and access requirements for Cloud.
+ 15+ years of experience in / knowledge of more than one of the following areas: Software Engineering, Architecture
+ Strong track record of driving and delivering results
+ Practical and pragmatic approach to delivering business value in short timeframes
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form, depending on the audience (especially on whiteboards).
+ Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to multi task and deliver to a tight deadline
+ Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment and eager to make a difference
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence people at all levels across organizational boundaries
+ Ability to work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment
+ Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
+ Vendor engagement experience preferred
+ Experience identifying strategic improvements and delivering measurable change in a planned manner
+ Ideally MSc in Computer Science or Information Security
+ 15+ years’ experience with Software Engineering
+ 10+ years’ experience with Information Security
+ AWS, Google and Azure cloud experience.
+ Experience with Restful web services
+ Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ CISSP, CISM certification desirable
