IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Senior Analyst

The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has an IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Senior Analyst position available in Wilmington, DE. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Information Technology function. This position will report to the Chief Information Security Officer.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform risk assessments to determine if the company’s information assets are protected from internal and external threats and are aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Perform compliance checks and provide support and moderation of regulatory compliance initiatives e.g. SOX
  • Work across-functional teams to design, implement and test various security processes and controls
  • Conduct internal security audits and provide technical and business recommendation to process owners to remediate all findings
  • Work with the Security team in identifying technical security gaps as reported by internal and external partners
  • Provide guidance on the compliance audit processes to practices and maintain templates for additional practice groups to evaluate their readiness
  • Evaluate measures taken to investigate and resolve compliance issues/concerns in a timely manner, and work with leadership to enhance investigation, resolution and compliance efforts
  • Analyzes the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk Management and Compliance
  • 2+ years of moderate experience with Excel and PowerBI
  • Experience with industry-based information security & control frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 2700x, SOC1&2 (SSAE18), CIS Critical Security Controls, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues to non-technical teams
  • Advanced knowledge of industry directions and trends in IT Audit, Risk Management and Regulations and Information Security
  • Dashboard updating and reporting by developing and defining metrics

The following skill sets are /preferred/ by the business unit:

  • Master degree or above
  • Certifications with corresponding experience will be used as a differentiator: CISSP, CRISC, CISA, Citrix, GSEC
  • Preference for recent Big 4 experience is highly desired
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies as they pertain to external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, ISO, CoBIT, NIST, GDPR)
  • Managed IT general computing controls risk/SOX/compliance process including updates to the annual testing, test execution, review of test results, recommending solutions to gaps and addressing gaps with control owners
  • Experienced assessing risk within Operational Technologies (e.g. Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Machine to machine (M2M) communications)
  • Proven experience in forging strong business partnerships
  • Active listening and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork and time management skills
  • Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated
