Job Description

Our client, a top 10 international Biopharmaceutical firm, is currently seeking an Accountancy Analyst for a 6 month contract position with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in Wilmington, DE.

The hours and pay for this position are as follows

+ Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

+ Pay is up to $41.02 per hour W2

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

+ Provide oversight for payroll tax processes

+ Collaborate with our payroll vendor to review, approve, and reconcile payroll tax funding and reporting activity.

+ Execute the payroll tax SOX control.

+ Prepare related journal entries and period-end reports.

+ Respond to related jurisdictional notices and requests.

+ Participate in Payroll Tax Audits, including analysis and resolution.

+ Provide information and support to Finance liaisons and our partners in other business areas.

+ Prepare accounting for US Compensation, Fringe Benefits, and Payroll Programs.

+ Prepare reporting for US incentive programs, including Budget and Tax forecasting.

+ Provide support for International Assignee program accounting and reporting.

+ Participate in required training, compliance, and company initiatives.
Support the Payroll and Benefit Plans Accounting Manager.

+ Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requires a BS in Accounting/Business Administration and 3-5 years general ledger accounting experience. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to work independently, and work collaboratively with others to achieve desired business results. Must have strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must have Microsoft Office experience and good attention to detail. Must be deadline oriented with excellent time management skills. SAP General Ledger and Workday Payroll systems experience preferred. Knowledge of payroll and/or corporate tax methodology preferred. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley structure and guidelines preferred.
