Labor Relations (COE) Center of Expertise Manager (Job Number: 202022W-01)

Description

DuPont currently has an opening for a Labor Relations (COE) Center of Expertise Manager to join the US HR Leadership team. This is an exciting, fast-paced position that is responsible for managing overall US Labor Strategy for DuPont, working with business/functional Leaders, site bargainers and Legal to plan and implement the bargaining strategy to enable business objectives.

The Labor Relations COE will be responsible for a team of 3 Labor Relations Consultants.

Responsibilities include the following:

+ Maintain an understanding of the external labor environment, identifying trends/changes/etc.to enhance overall strategy

+ Lead the Site Bargainers network, keeping them informed of business, organizational or functional changes; build network capabilities through training, coaching, etc.

+ Establish bargaining guidelines for Corporate Notifications/Changes; point of contact for COE’s

+ Facilitation of Labor Best Practice Training, including Site Sensing for leaders, HR, and other stakeholders

+ Process owner for the US Career Transition Plan (CTP) program, including:CTP process, WARN Notifications (in conjunction with Legal/GP&A), Severance Accrual Process (Global)

+ Stakeholder Management

+ M&A Labor point of contact; advising and developing approaches and guidelines to address opportunities

+ Team leadership, coaching, development, engagement, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, a Masters is preferred; other BA/BS degrees considered.

+ Minimum of 15-20 years of experience leading a labor relations strategy for a large plant site and/or across several sites

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR working as an HR consultant capacity

+ Strong experience leading a group of HR professionals

+ Ability to influence business leaders and key stakeholders

+ Ability to build strong relationships

+ Strong Project Management skills and the ability to manage/balance a large workload

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
