Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Director, Alternative Commercialization will look across personal and digital channels and “call on” other businesses in a B2B development capacity to foster new relationships with suppliers and publishers that have existing relationships with the very customers and patients AZ brands need to communicate.
You will identify and establish business to business collaborations with health IT and services companies that derive mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships. Foster and facilitate strategic alliances with AZ customers as needed to test and deploy collaborations between AZ and third-party health IT and services companies.
+ MBA or equivalent experience (e.g., management consulting, 5+ years management role, entrepreneur or combination of these skills and experiences).
+ Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of time.
+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Business, Marketing, Communications, Science, Healthcare).
+ 10+ years relevant experience in sales/marketing including market/ statistical analysis, brand planning/ management, territory management and financial forecasting.
+ Experience in a global pharmaceutical or biotech industry with a BS or BA degree preferred.
+ Experience in developing strategies and managing the direction of multiple functional teams.
+ Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and organizational skills.
+ Experience in supporting or leading change management initiatives.
