CIED Triage Technician’s responsibilities include managing assigned accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review CRM web portal data, and determine if urgent, emergent or routine processing is needed. • Manage data on CRM web portal and OneView and provide data management and clinical reporting in a timely manner. • Serve as a clinical liaison for patients requiring technology based care. • Maintain web portal and Oneview CRM schedules. • Management of scheduled and unscheduled transmissions, including ‘import’ process, schedule, and report through ‘review’. • Perform client enrollment processes for each account. • Perform patient transfer and deactivation upon physician request for each account. • Maintain inter- and intra-office communication to support patient care, patient compliance, and management. • Contact patients for reminder transmissions. • Troubleshoot customer inquiries. • Consistently marks a session as ‘reviewed’, triggering need for data to be reported on. • Enters and analyzes basic information to identify incidents that correspond to heart pattern irregularities detected on heart monitor or ‘Alerts’ or other attention requiring information. • Accurately enters information into case management spreadsheet. • Ability to identify ‘normal’ from ‘abnormal’ reports. • The CIED Triage Technician will be expected to process at least 200 patient encounters per day. • Appropriately indicate a data set requiring urgent or emergent evaluation. • Perform basic interpretation of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) information including device programming, measured information, diagnostic information, and testing. • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

• High School diploma required • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field or biomedical technology preferred • CIED Triage Technician must be a Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT), or obtain the certification within 12 months of assuming the position CIED Triage Technician must be willing to work from either 11:00pm – 7:00am

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Maintain CRAT certification or advanced rhythm analysis or CIED certification. • Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Device technologies. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Solid attention to detail. • The ability to think logically and critically. • A helpful and positive attitude. • Ability to learn quickly and work well with others.


CIED Triage Technician will be walking, standing, twisting, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling intermittently, and sitting continuously daily. They will be required to reach or work below shoulder level. CIED Triage Technician must be able to lift and move up to 5 lbs.


CIED Triage Technician works primarily indoors in an office environment where temperatures fluctuate, and the noise level is typically moderate.


The CIED Triage Technician is expected to process at least 200 patient encounters per day.
