Process Analyst


Job Description:

Analyzes and reengineers processes. Performs one or more of the following or related activities: 1) Analyzes and reengineers mission processes by applying business process reengineering principles. 2) Proposes and assists in the implementation of change initiatives. 3) Supports participation in related studies. 4) Develops tools and information systems as required to support management processes. Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following:

+ Develops familiarity with the application of business process principles and their potential for integration and application to theater engagement planning processes

+ Develops automated system tools and software applications to support the management process

+ Applies enterprise information models in the use of building integrated and shared database management systems

+ Support includes briefings to senior officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs); preparation of reports and assessments; compilation of statistics; research and analysis; and publications posted on the collateral Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)

+ Provides analysis that contributes to battle staff planning concerning Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) supporting contingency operations in the European theater of operations.

+ Participates in meetings and working groups that support information systems development; provides technical advice and assistance for training and concepts that support air operations; develops briefings and reports for senior and general officers

+ Reviews, analyzes and drafts responses for information system documentation, plans, proposals and requests for coordination or assistance Skills: Analyzes plans, data, intelligence information, or systems. Develops estimates and makes recommendations for deficiencies. Integrates information from a variety of sources into various systems; ensures proper system interfaces. Collects data for analysis. Develops products resulting from analysis. Requirements Level I: Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of recent specialized experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of recent specialized experience; OR 10 years of recent specialized experience. Must have demonstrated practical experience in the area(s) of expertise required in the Task Order, Performance Work Statement. Level II = Level I with 3 additional years’ experience Level III = Level I with 5 additional years’ experience
