We are currently seeking a hard working, dedicated, and reliable Construction Laborer (Civil and Earthwork) to join our team! The Construction Skilled Laborer will be responsible to safely and efficiently perform any combination of tasks related to heavy civil work to earthwork, sewer installation/repair, E&S control, paving, and site utility work as necessary for a variety of construction projects.
+ tasks in connection with the installation of drainage, sewer and/or water pipelines or conduits such as positioning, joining and sealing pipe sections and culverts and erecting and removing shoring and bracing for trenches and excavations
+ dig trenches and similar excavations, refills excavations, spreads and levels to grade dirt, gravel and other materials using pick and shovel
+ set and repair curbing, patch broken or eroded pavement and maintain roadways and sidewalks in a safe condition
+ tasks in connection with snow removal and ice control work.
Qualified Candidates must
+ Have a minimum three years related experience
+ Possess a current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record
+ Be able to receive and follow direction
+ Be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
