We are currently looking for a Project Manager Level Steam Technical Advisor
*Planning (during both the proposal stage and the project execution stage), scheduling, commissioning.
*Managing startup, commissioning, testing and training activities for projects.
Provide customers with technical direction and support on Steam Turbrines
*Works with site Management to implement software changes to turbine and is responsible for directing lower level craft labor to perform the changes.
- Signs off on all changes implemented.
- Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
- Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
- Monitor site safety during project execution
- Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
- Perform walk-downs during installation to ensure that the customer’s contractors are working properly.
- Perform after market upgrades that need to be performed at the site level.
*Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of Steam Turbines, Aero derivative Gas Turbine Operation & Controlling Parameters.
*OEM Certifications on Gas or Steam Turbines.
*In order to provide direction to others, this position requires technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.
*Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required. *Technical/University degree or qualifying experience.
DESIRED: Additional working knowledge of the below for overall understanding of operation is a plus:
*Electrical circuitry, both AC & DC.
*Experience with high voltage controls, protective systems and calibration of IO devices desired. *Pipe fitting and tubing experience.
